Apprenticeship - Sprinkler System Design Engineer (CAD)
Full Time / 12 Months (potential for extension)
£NMAW

Our busy Design Department are currently looking for an Apprentice to join their team at our head office in Colwick, Nottingham.

As part of this employment you will be required to enrol at a local college and work towards an NVQ L3 in Business Administration. We will arrange this with the successful candidate.

In this office based role you will use AutoCad to design bespoke sprinkler systems, ranging from new build homes to high rise apartment schemes. You will be designing multiple projects at any one time.

It will be essential for the candidate to demonstrate the ability to learn about all the current residential sprinkler system standards, and associated building regulations.

Full training will be provided.

This role will also involve liaison with customers, suppliers and internal departments, managing project design timelines and costs, and maintaining project documentation.

The ideal candidate will be educated to at least GCSE standard, have strengths in Mathematics and English, and have an interest in Construction or Engineering. A technical mind is a must. You will have excellent communication skills, as you will be building relationships with clients. You will be organised and self-motivated, and confident working to deadlines. Strong IT skills are a must.

Apprenticeship – Business Administrator

Full Time / 12 Months (potential for extension)

Our busy Administration Department are currently looking for an Apprentice to join their team at our head office in Colwick, Nottingham.

 

As part of this employment you will be required to enrol at a local college and work towards an NVQ L3 in Business Administration. We will arrange this with the successful candidate.

 

In this office based role you will learn a wide variety of administration duties, with particular attention in reception duties and accounts administration.

 

It will be essential for the candidate to demonstrate accuracy, self-motivation and working on your own initiative.

 

Full training will be provided.

 

This role will also involve liaison with customers, suppliers, internal departments and maintaining project documentation.

 

The ideal candidate will be educated to at least GCSE standard, have strengths in English and Mathematics. You will have excellent communication skills, as you will be building relationships with clients. You will be organised and self-motivated, and confident working to deadlines. Strong IT skills are also a must.
