A full sprinkler system is defined as one where
all rooms in the building are protected with
sprinkler heads.
The requirement for a full sprinkler system is usually laid out by the Building Control Officer (BCO). Nationwide Fire Sprinklers will talk with the BCO to ensure that the system requirements are met whilst achieving a minimum cost. We work with the BCO to ensure you get the optimal solution for your installation; this is absolutely necessary as every installation is unique in design and context. An example of our work is available in residential sprinkler case studies. |
| Full systems can be fitted with some variations
that can be necessitated where water pressure is a
low a water pump may be required: As well as this
enough water may be required to fight the fire for a
fixed duration, in this case a
storage tank may be
used. All these additions will be calculated by the sprinkler engineer as he works to meet the BCO's specifications. |
