A full sprinkler system is one where
all fire related assets in a domestic building are protected with
sprinkler heads.
A Building Control Officer (BCO) will usually ask for a full system to be installed as part of a planning application. As part of project management; Nationwide Fire Sprinklers will talk with the BCO to ensure that the system requirements are met whilst achieving a minimum cost. Our experience with working with the BCO will ensure you get the best solution for your installation; this is absolutely necessary as every installation is unique in design and context. In a domestic property you should only have to install sprinklers the once. |

An example of our work is available in domestic sprinkler case studies Systems installation can have some variations that can be necessitated where water pressure is a low a water pump may be required. In addition to this an amount of water may be required to fight the fire for a fixed duration, in this case a storage tank may be used. All these additions will be calculated by the Nationwide sprinkler engineer to conform to the standards laid out by the BCO. |
